New landscape design for a garden in Suffolk
On this project, we have designed a unique garden landscape for Mr and Mrs Chapman, in Suffolk.
We supplied and built custom made 1.8 x 5.4 meter wooden pergola for our customer. The pergola was built using locally sourced timber. Fabricated at our Timber Mill, located at our yard. Up to 90% of all our timber is home-grown and locally sourced; cutting down on expensive haulage and C02 emissions.
Once our prep work was completed, we then had to dismantle a green house. The dismantled green house was then cleared from site; this was to allow room for the pergola to be situated.
There was an area of shingle which was cleared by our team. Once the area had been cleared, we then installed a brindle block paved seating area and paths. Which was laid on a screeded sand bed.
Once the path was laid down, we then had to pull up the old paving slabs. Once the slabs had been removed, we then supplied and relayed Indian sandstone paving slabs. This was to create a seating area. On the edge of the seating area, a a brick wall structure was built; this was then used to create a barbecue area. Along side this, our team built a raised bed using New oak sleepers.
Across our works at this garden, we managed to recycle up to 90% of the materials taken away.
