The Simons Landscaping Difference
The last two years has been a rollercoaster ride for everybody around the world. With shielding, lockdowns and the absence of family, it has opened the eyes that there are important causes that we can all get involved in to help build a better community. During 2021 Simons Landscaping has started our initiative to give back to the local community.
The start of our initiative is to help support the local wild life around Norfolk. We are achieving this by planting a range of hedging, trees and plants at various projects and sites across Norfolk. Planting new vegetation around Norfolk is extremely important to allow wildlife to thrive and grow; providing habitats for them all to prosper in. The plantation of new trees throughout Norfolk will also assist in providing clean air for future generations in the Norfolk area.
Our commitment for 2022 will be to plant a minimum of 1000 trees, planting and hedges throughout the Norfolk area. This done throughout commercial and domestic projects that we will undertake throughout the year. We are also committing to help achieve this goal to plant on privately owned property. We are looking to sow a minimum of 10 acres of wild flowers in the Norfolk area, enabling the wildlife and bees to prosper. Along side all of this we are also looking to install numerous bird boxes on the developed tress throughout projects that we have previously undertaken.
A message from one of our Directors Paul Cruickshank – “For every tree that Simons Landscaping remove throughout our projects, our aim is to plant another 5 in their replacement. We want to do our bit as a key landscaper in Norfolk to give back to the wild life and environment. Our pledge for 2022 of planting a minimum of 1000 trees, planting and hedges is just the beginning for Simons Landscaping and we can’t wait to continue do our bit for the local community.”
