We kicked off 2026 with an exciting and extensive project in Blofield Heath, Norfolk, showcasing a wide range of our landscaping, groundwork, and driveway installation services. The project began with significant earthworks, involving the excavation and relocation of over 100 tonnes of soil from the rear garden to the front of the property using our 3-tonne and 5-tonne excavators. This enabled us to create new levels for a substantial hard-standing area, which was then covered with quality chippings and machine-rolled to provide a smooth, practical parking surface. We also installed coping stones to an existing wall, giving it a clean, refined finish along the property’s extensive driveway. This allowed us to establish the correct levels before installing a durable Type 1 sub-base, creating the perfect foundation for the new surface. This transformation included a large parking area and a lengthy roadway, both with a professionally tar and shingled finish with attractive block paving edgings. To create a striking first impression, we constructed bespoke brick entrance piers and installed electric gates, delivering a truly impressive and welcoming entrance to the property. To complete the driveway and roadway works, we applied a tarmac finish to the road edges, complemented by charcoal paving blocks and dropped kerbs for a smart, seamless appearance.

As we moved towards the end of the first month of 2026, we completed a charming landscaping project in Norwich city center. This quaint rear terrace garden required a complete refresh to create a practical, low-maintenance outdoor space that the homeowner could enjoy all year round. Our team installed attractive trellis panels alongside close board screening to enhance privacy while maintaining a stylish appearance. We then carried out a full garden clearance, removing old soil, debris, and unwanted materials before preparing the area for its transformation. Fresh topsoil was carefully laid throughout the garden, followed by high-quality rolled lawn turf, instantly creating a lush, vibrant green space. The result was a clean, tidy, and easily manageable garden that completely transformed the property’s outdoor area and left another happy customer delighted with the finished result.

A project in Long Stratton started with the installation of a stylish and durable boundary fence, featuring Oasis lattice panels mounted on concrete posts with concrete gravel boards. The finished result provided both privacy and an attractive boundary that complemented the property perfectly.

The customer was so delighted with the transformation and, as a result, commissioned us to continue the improvements with a brand-new raised patio, We returned to prepare the area by levelling, laying type 1 granite base and laying a two tone Indian patio with a carbon easy joint. We raised an area with a brick face to meet the patio doors building steps in the two tone with a half moon shape and bull nosed edge to the curves. Finishing the job off with 20 ton of top soil to level and laying a lovely lawn turf. Very happy customers! Fantastic property transformation.

Last, but certainly not least, among our featured projects was a large-scale surfacing contract for a returning customer in Suffolk. This project showcased the capabilities that set Simons Landscaping apart from many other contractors by using our own Ammann paver, we machine-laid AC14 binder course across the site before compacting and finishing the surface with our Hamm 1200 twin drum roller.
